South African customers will have two options for shipping parcels. Either a courier service can be selected, whereby the parcel will be delivered within 72 hours of us delivering the parcel to the selected courier. This is a more expensive, but speedier option, taking between 24-72 hours and being delivered to your door. The alternative is to select SA Post Office's parcel postage service. The parcel will need to be collected from your stipulated post office. Tracking numbers are used to prevent postage theft and loss. This is a slightly slower, yet cheaper option, taking approximately 5 days.
DHL is used to deliver international parcels, which is an air freight service and takes between 2-7 working days for transit time. Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
The provision of goods and services by G.A.N.G. Ceramic Design CC T/A Southern Art Ceramics and the owner of the www.handmadetiles.co.za, www.arttilegallery.com and www.mytile.co.za is subject to availability. Cancellations can only be made within 24 hours of the order being placed. The authorization of a return will be at our discretion and should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a minimum 30% handling fee. The handling fee covers our transaction costs of +/- 16% and the rest covers administration of the lost sale. You must advise us via email of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be made by the person who made the original purchase.
If a product is damaged on receiving it, please inform
within 24 hours of receipt. We will either make arrangements for the damaged product to be returned to us and get a replacement sent to you on our account or alternatively we may refund you in full for the damaged product.
Please note, if returning a product, that we recommend you use a courier or postal service which offers shipment tracking. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered.
