To all our international  clients we apologize for not being able to afford more economical rates when you pay by credit card. The reason is that Visa and MasterCard require sign-off by the purchaser and as such the rates are higher so that we can track and request a hard copy of the signed delivery note from the courier company, in this case DHL.

 

  • If you have your own account with a courier company you are welcome to pay by credit card and arrange collection from the studio.

We could offer you rates that are substantially lower, both on Air and even lower rates by Sea and Surface mail.

To use this option, place your order online and choose:

  • The "Budget Shipping Quote With Bank Transfer Only " when making your delivery choice.
  • The " Bank Transfer Of Funds " option when making your payment choice.
  • We shall then forward a quote to you with other transport rates and options.
  • Southern Art Ceramics will issue an invoice with our banking details for you to settle if any of our quoted delivery options suit your budget and you still wish to proceed with the order. Please note that with this option you take possession of your new purchase at the time of delivery by us to the courier company .
  • Southern Art Ceramic Design often use these non- traceable and slightly slower options with not one parcel lost due to non delivery the past 22 years!
  • Remember that these parcels will be insured against loss at a rate of 2% of transaction value. In the unlikely case it do get lost Southern Art Ceramic Design could either refund you or replace it with a new choice of products.

 

Examples Costs:

  • As an example one 100 x 100mm tile can be posted by airmail to any destination in Europe for +/- R125 the equivalent of 16 US Dollars or 11 Euros at today's exchange rates.
  • With bulk orders, deliveries that you collect at the airport will be a cheap option, for example 50kg to Europe can cost as little 350 Euros with some destinations even less!
